How to Grow your Wildflower Seeds

Each packet contains 7.5g of Wildflower Seeds.

The Wildflower seeds are Bee Friendly as the bees forage on these flowers for nectar and pollen keeping them well nourised to fend off disease and parasites. Pollinators will help your other plants too by ensuring your fruit and veg crops produce fruit.

You can plant them anywhere but planters and big pots are great!

Plant in a sunny area in spring & summer. Make sure they receive at least 4-5 hours sun per day, however the more the better!

Wildflower seeds will germinate and grow when soil and air conditions are warm and airy. Prolonged cold and wet conditions will significantly affect germination too.

Spread the seeds as evenly as possible over potting mix. (They will not grow on grass or weeds) Lightly rake, sprinkle soil over the top or water the seed into the soil but make sure the seeds are not covered with soil more than 2-3mm as this could inhibit germination.)

In the first 4-6 weeks make sure they are well watered. They can then usually survive with minimum rainfall but remember to water them in dry periods. In late Spring and Summer flowering should begin within about 8-10 weeks from sowing.

Watch them bloom!
