More about our Golden Orbs...

• Handcrafted from 100% Beeswax straight from our own hives, each Orb is wonderfully unique!
  
  
• Beeswax has antibacterial properties like honey, this means they are perfect for cups as they don't require vigorous cleaning. It is also thought to have antifungal properties. Beeswax also doesnt go bad, meaning if looked after well these Orbs will last a very long time.
  
  
• Beeswax has its own uniquely delighful aroma. Not that you should eat these orbs but if accidentally ingested beeswax is non toxic, which means these orbs are completely safe around pets and children.
  
  
• Beeswax is watertight, making our orbs the perfect choice to hold liquids for that perfect coctkail or use as water glasses, we also use them to serve our honey.

•  Our Golden Orbs are completely environmentally friendly, a 100% renewable resource straight from our hives. Our ethos is to nurture our bees meaning we only take the excess wax, leaving the bees with plenty. 
  
  
• These orbs are completely versatile, can be used as:
• Drinking glasses - for cold liquids only, like cocktails, water, your morning orange juice!
• Tealight holders - battery powered tealights are perfect if you are unable to have live flames in your home yet want a beautifully warm glow and aroma from a beeswax candle
• Food serving vessel for your olives and snacks for a wine and cheese night. Its also great to serve honey from!
• Beauty storage, use them for your cotton pads/buds, earrings, rings, hairclips. The list is endless!
• Or just purely use them as decoration, pop some flowers in them, a little succulent plant - the sky is the limit!

How to look after your Golden Orbs...

• Not to be used with hot lquids
  
  
• Do not place on hot surfaces
  
  
• Keep away from direct sunlight
  

• Handwash with cool or lukewarm water and eco-friendly dish soap or wipe down with a damp cloth (Remember beeswax has antimicrobial properties & obviously do not put these in a dishwasher) 
  

Our Favourite Cocktail to go in your Golden Orbs...

GOLD RUSH COCKTAIL:
Bourbon, Honey Syrup & Lemon
(also the inspiration for one of our scented candles)

60ml Bourbon (If you are not a fan of Bourbon you can use your preffered liquor (Aliye uses Gin and its still delicious)
45ml Honey Syrup (see how to make below - our Honeydew Honey is the bees knees!)
45ml Freshly squeezed Lemon juice (from 1 lemon)

Instructions:
Grab your cocktail shaker, fill with ice. Combine all liquids and shake, shake, shake! Basically until your hands get too cold (usually around 10 seconds). Strain into your Golden orb filled with ice. BEAUTY! 

How to make Honey syrup (as honey as itself is a little too thick to use on its own)
Take equal parts honey and water and heat in a saucepan until the honey has melted and mixed with the water. Let it cool and voila! Easy as! (This syrup can be stored in the fridge up to two weeks)
